Stephen Curry’s NBA Prospects

Stephen Curry aka “The Chosen one” has taken over the landscape of college basketball. The 6-3 185 lbs. under recruited star of the Davidson Wildcats has shown the skill and technique that NBA veterans would dream of, plus the killer mentality of a superstar. Curry’s points per game have increased every season by 5 which says a lot because his freshman year he averaged 21 per game. The thing I respect most about Curry is his great leadership and his tenacity going against “Big Time” programs. Their are several examples including: in the Sweet Sixteen 33points vs. Wisconsin
30 points vs. Georgetown
This kid finds a way to shock and amaze a crowd like no player I’ve seen in college basketball in a decade. His small, unassuming stature with his never back down attitude has made him a primetime player to watch all the way at little ole’ Davidson.
His small stature will effect him in the league by forcing him to be either an undersized two guard or a shoot first point guard. I know he’s a great collegiate passer, but his ball handling will be tested extremely by the quick NBA guards. I believe he’ll fall in between Jannero Pargo
(who was a solid NBA vet for 8 years before signing a multi million dollar deal in the past off-season with Russian Super League), and the sharp shooting legend Reggie Miller.
He can be a player that averages 15 points and 5 assist per game in the NBA therefore making him a very productive NBA talent.
